It is my understanding that you do not have to have YES, although I did. Maybe some without it that had it done can confirm.

I did have the extended warrenty,but we never did replace my rings,maybe they would of just did the warrenty service no questions asked as long as its one of the 03 or 04 rx1s? I sold mine while still having oil issues!
