Can I reinstall my stock handgrips when I put on my new RSI heated grips? Or, should I get new grips too?

You can use them over if they are in good shape and can get them off without wrecking them.

It should work if they’re not glued in place. Take a air compressor and cap the opposite bar end. Blow into it and pull the grip off. Should expand and slide off without much of a fight. The rsi grips are much heavier and a better overall grip I found.

Unless I have a premature element failure my grips are usually worn to the point they need replaced also. I've saved and reused them a few times over the years but only if they show no signs of wear. It's a lot easier to cut the old ones and reinstall new.
