I put Simmons skis on my Attak. I put them on my Warrior a few years back and found a big difference. The biggest thing you'll notice is it won't dart like the stock ones do. Other fixes would be to get the dual-runner carbides or other aftermarket ski. There are several threads on this subject if you use the search feature. Good luck!

I have had an RX-1, Warrior and now an Attak and the only fault I can find with the stock ski's are they don't keep the front end up in the fluff. I suggest trying the stockers 1st (if we ever get snow that is) before spending the cash.

I found the stock skis to be OK; not great but they don't suck either. I did shim the skis to resolve the excessive darting. Also replaced the carbides with Bergstrom Triple Points, which have a rocker type design. I liked this set up for the best all around conditions. Still have some push in the corners in loose snow, but I don't want to go to an aggressive ski that requires too much effort to turn during all day rides.

I have over 400 miles on my slydog powderhounds this year with my attak. The skis are perfect on the attak. I had my transfer a 3/4 and the skis worked great. I had no darting at all. They work as advertised.

Depends on what you are going to do with it.
The only things everyone agrees with are that the stockers are no good in powder and are dangerous in crusty snow conditions.
Me, I have a Warrior and a Apex GT. Neither dart with me on them the way I have them set up. The Warrior I can drive on an open trail with one hand at speed. So I am stickin with the Stockers, they are fine for me.
Others like Rock and Swiss above obviously had set ups that darted for them and took steps to get rid of it.
Some have tried ski's and have later gone back to stockers with dual runner carbides which they found better than the aftermarket ski's
Try it first with the stockers, see what ya got , and go forward from there.
