My Dad has a 05 vector with 1300 miles on it. says its running the best we have ever had it running (we went through the carbs, suspension, skis, etc to get it dialed in the last two seasons). He hit 95 mph with room left. Whats normal on these sleds. Its bone stock with dullays up front no studs or anything. He swears when it was new it hit 100 once and felt he would have again but ran out of room.

Also how are guys getting 20mpg with these? He has yet to see 16-17 ish maybe once on groomed trails driving real easy. He does like the go lever though but I thought everyone does! LOL

As a FYI to newbie 4 strokers that may be reading, he absoutly HATED this sled when new. Its taken us about 2 seasons to get it they way he likes it. It now rails corners, turns great, instant throttle response, and comfortable. He loves it now and wont give it up I'm sure. Its a perfect sled for him.

Pre M10 I was 95-98. Post M10 90-95. I also never get 20 mpg....maybe 1X...but mostly I'm in the 15-17mpg range. I'm quite happy with that too! We must have heavy thumbs!!! ;)!

I saw 105mph on my new Vector LTX last weekend, with less than 300 miles on the odo. At around 50 miles on the odo I was only seeing 98-100mph on a slightly downhill trail.

13.5mpg first tank, 16.5 on the last tank...riding fast.

At just over 1/2 throttle, mine will keep shifting out and I was pulling 92-95mph out ot it! Full throttle only gives about 10mph more.

Last season the dream meter would read 112-115 depending on the conditions. After m-10, 106 this last Sat. Fuel mileage last year 17 to 21 depending on how I rode. Only went 96 miles so far this year, havent re-fueled yet to know how its doing.

Now don't you hit the messenger here... I have a 05 vector... I ran dooly's the first two years. I topped out at 102 once in verrrrrrrrrry bad conditions.. 45 degrees with wet heavy snow.. My friend on a 600 doo only hit 95 the same day..The best gas mileage those fisrt two years was ;)! 20mpg.. Last year I put on duece bars.. "WOW".. the gas mileage went up to a high of 21.9........................ I check the mileage at every fill-up.. The duece bars added about 1.5 mpg.. Top speed has "NOT" been tried yet.. But seat of the pants tells me it would be higher than 102... MM.

Saw 107 on Dream Meter on a hard pack road last winter, 99 on the lake, which was ideal. I went by a Polaris on the lake and he said he was doing around 105 so, guess the "Dream Meter" theory stands true.

I've seen 114 on the dream-o'-meter. Would expect actual speed to be somewhere around 105-106 or so.

Sled has about 1900 miles.

I can usually pull 122 on the dreammeter on the 6 mile long lake I live on with 1" of snow. (Almost perfect conditions.) The speedo is off roughly 10 to 11 MPH vs GPS at that speed. (Almost stock sled) On trail I never pull more than 106 to 107 on the dreammeter.
