Stronger springs

I have a Star suspension kit installed in my xtx and it hardly ever bottoms out now. Only on the really big ones. I am about 200 lbs without gear. Worth every penny. Shane

Are there stronger springs for the XTX skid for us fat guys.

Maybe you already knew this, but changing to the Apex XTX spring in the rear would give you more spring rate. The Apex XTX uses 1500nm springs on the rear skid comnpared to the 1200nm springs on the Nytro.

Call Ulmer racing he has springs.

I installed 2007 apex RTX rear springs in my Nytro XTX they are 1900Nm. No bottoming now. I had installed the Star kit prior to the springs and it improved the ski lift but still bottomed easily with my weight and had excessive sag. I hardly ever bottom now and there is not a whole lot of sag. When I am off the sled there is Zero sag, the suspension is all the way up. I attribute this to the reduced friction given by the Star Kit. When I #*$&@ plant on the seat I would bet 1.5" of sag. I am 315lbs with gear plus 20lb backpack plus a 12L jerry on the back. The Apex RTX springs with the Star kit was the second best upgrade after the Backcountry track.

I went with the 1900Nm springs and found a big improvement. Only bottoms on the big stuff. I'm 245lbs plus gear and also have the two fuel cans sitting on the backend of my tunnel.
