Besides it MAY not lasting forever, has anyone had negative effects of securing the splines of the stub shaft?

I dont think it would be a good idea for service down the road.Besides it MAY not lasting forever, has anyone had negative effects of securing the splines of the stub shaft?

I've heard of guys doing this. They say the loctite eventually lets go.

There is a reason that those shafts are not together solid.

Yamaha should have supplied the splines with an oil feed through the end of the crankshaft.
