Running studs in DIRECT CENTER of track is something i have NEVER done in my whole 40+ yrs. LOL
Not only is there many times a shock eye that heads hit, there is the center protector on all DOOS(front) and now we have the rear center protector. But even before all that, I would never stud center directly, as that is the least amt of down pressure, no idlers and too far from rails.
If you look at a good template, it will not use center directly ever.
