Studs or ice ripper or ice cobra 18ltx le

I love my ice cobra 144 that's on my Nytro. That thing is a blast. You can slide it around but it's controlled. Anything above that much HP would be a no go for me though.

Guess I will just have to wait till snow flies to see how the 19 le’s with the ice cobra handle

1.6 Ice Cobra. Running TD stock muffler tunes. No regrets.
Did you change clutch at all? I am seeing the 19s with ice cobra has different gearing? Thx

Rode the first year no studs and 2 year studded with 144 4-2-4 style up the middle of the track. On snow covered lakes and trails no big difference in feel or performance for me. Once the track and or studs are shot and if I plan on keeping the sled I will go prestudded track for safety and no risk of stud failure resulting in a down sled.

No gearing change.
My sled was delivered with the Ice Cobra installed by dealer. My sled was down on RPMs so dealer tightened stock sec spring to 6-1. Never saw more than 106 MPH but beat the fastest Apexes (all studded) in our group top to bottom. I added TD clutch kit and tunes for season 2 and I’m still trying to dial it in completely. I have seen 117 GPS now but I’m still low on RPMs on EcoTrail. I know next to nothing about clutching and have asked a lot of questions and haven’t gotten a lot of specific answers relative to clutching for the taller lug track. So I’m just planning to turn up the boost and adjust the Dalton weights as needed. I’m planning to set it and forget it at stock muffler Max Spool 16 unless I get the flash to pass button. Otherwise I need the next small Dalton weights.
