Never had a sled with studs and think I only rode one with studs once for a very short distance.. Keep telling myself im gonna do my phazer, but we will see.

I've had sleds with both. Now all my sleds are stud free. I got sick of ruining my driveway, garage floor and traction mats in the trailer. I did miss some of the traction i had with my studded nytro so I replaced the small SXR tracks with 1.25 inch ripsaw's and have never looked back. The 136 inch vector gives me not only the added traction that I feel is equal to the nytro, but added comfort as well.
I prefer studs for acceration and brakeing you might be in control of your un studded sled but the person comming at you around an icey corner might not and when he slides through the corner and hits you or your wife or kids don't get mad just get studs just my opinion
