Yes, that was the complaint I had last year with the EFI on Johns blower. I'm beginning to think I better give MPI a call myself.

Accelerator pump update. 1 month out, just what Mac told us yesterday as well. I'm not sure how they will go about updating the controllers, hope they can do it quickly when it's available!

Careful guys!
I have been hearing the "next month" for a year now, still no pullies for stage 2
Bought a stage 2, still running the 1:1 ratio, I have also went through 2 fuel control boxes, they water up and short out quickly...the second one I dried out about 5 times before it shorts out, I installed it where Al told me to, but the powder was wild last weekend.....alll you could see were the handle bars!
MPI s/c at high altitudes do not work guys, you need countless hours of playing etc.... the specs they give me for the fuel box at 6000 ft must have been picked out of a hat, because my machine wont even run!
My trips to the mountains are becoming so bad I have bought a second sled for when mine breaks down......
I have ordered a Boondocker control box for the supercharger about 3hrs ago, should be here on Friday.
It then goes onto a chassis Dynometer for its setup I'll let you know how it goes.
When I call MPI they tell me that there is nothing wrong its just the setup I have, they have not been helpful whats so ever!
Hope you all have a great season

Who has a better clutch set-up forMPI STG 1-Ulmer or Hauck?
I didn't get a lot of replies the other day and really need to know which direction to go for clutching - Ulmer or Hauck. MPI told me to call Hauck, but it looks like Ulmer is all over this forum. 1st time Yammy guy after 20 years on Polaris & Cat so I need help to make this thing kick #*$&@!

Sounds like Boosted Hasnt!! I have a custom turbo 04RXMTN,and am considering an Apex with SuperCharger, turbo has been awesome, but I rode a RX w super and was really impressed with the throttle response,Was really hoping to hear about at least one success story on a s/c Apex in mountains.May have to pass on the s/c ApexFeetsbig said:Has anyone had good luck with Stage 1 on Apex in mountains?

These sleds do rock, don't they? Did you get the 07 or an 06? I can't imagine how much more powerful they would be with a S/C or Turbo. I'm hoping by next season I'll have a stage II S/C on my RTX. It is hard for me to think of my sled at 220+ HP and some un godly Torque in the trails. Glad to hear you are enjoying the ride. I knew you would because I love my sled. I'll most likely have this sled a long, long time.
