Allen, let me know how it compares to a turbo, To get it done around here I think I would need to have 230-240HP at least.

I will be installing a Supercharger on a 05 RX-1 ER this weekend, will have a forum member helping and watching as I do the install. Now we just need some snow so I'll have a chance to ride the dang thing! I'll take pictures and post a walk through of the install when I'm done!

how much are the super chargers ? about the same as a turbo?

Yes, both roughly cost $4500.

I should also note that if we don't recieve anymore snow this season the sled will go to the engine dyno to verify the HP and then to the track dyno to be setup for the asphalt.

Bender will be releasing a SC with about 205HP should be about $3000 - $3500 or so

I believe 200 hp will be pretty accurate on pump gas at our elevation as well (around 1200 ft) especially if you add a more "free flowing" exhaust.

Hey Allen, I hope you guys don't put that supercharger on the 03' thats sittin' at your place instead of the 05' by mistake. Don't worry, I won't mind!

Update, the unit won't be here until Monday so nothing will happen this weekend. I'll keep you guys updated as to when I get it installed!

Spent last weekend with the family and didn't even look at the supercharger, but this weekend I'll spend some more time on it. Currently waiting on different jets (wouldn't luck have it that I have 3 and need one more) and then hopefully have it up and going this weekend. Also have to put the new clutch weights I have in and then the fine tuning will start to happen!
