hello,, new to this forum,, just got my apex er,, my girlfriend will be riding with me on back i am 175 and she is 130,, what adjustments r recommended

back to blue,, loving it :yam:

Hey good girl friends are hard to find, suggest you keep her smiling and order the optional 6.5kgf/mm spring, part# 8FU 47489 10 00.
Start with the shock clip in #2 and cam position #5.

Hey Apexer,
Be careful if you ride in Michigan. They will ticket you for riding two up on a one up sled. Are you going to ride with your chick most of the time? If you are you may want to consider a two up sled. Singles are pretty tight for two.

Coldone, that was uncalled for....that is not the correct way to welcome new users. You know better then that.

If that was me, I would have been pissed.

First thing I would do is buy a sled for her. She will have more fun and so will you. But then again she is only your g/f so either way you won't win.
Guess I should explain. She is going to hate the ride sitting on the storage flap which is not recommended. If you buy her a sled, even if used, is going to cost you! So guess what! You won't win.

I WAS ONLY KIDDING FOR SURE!!!

I weigh almost what both of them do!!!

Never want to piss anyone off guys, always joke'n!!!

:drink:

Welcome Apexer-4-06, Hope I didn't upset anyone!!!

I AM PRESUMING YOU WILL HAVE A SEATJACK FOR HER?

Seatjacks for Apex/Attak are currently on back order. They MIGHT have a new batch available for late December!

Be careful if you ride in Michigan. They will ticket you for riding two up on a one up sled.

Is this REALLY true? And, does it hold true if you're bringing young (10 years old) kids along?

Absolutely true. I have personally seen it happen twice. Mostly the DNR who write them. Both times were adults with kids.
