I've been looking through the forums to see if anyone else has had an issue but haven't seen anything. When slowly going over small ruts and bumps I hear and feel a tapping sound coming from the rear. Almost like a rebound hit. I've messed with the spring and weight transfer but doesn't seem to help. I just got it back from the 1st oil change and other tune-up stuff and they said they could not find anything loose or otherwise. So now I'm here. Any idea?
thanks

I have the Apex GT and it does the same thing! I think it is just what you said the compression rebound of the shock/spring in the mono set up!

Transfer rod is making the noise. As soon as it couples it bangs. All Monos do it. No worries.
^^^^what he said
"I believe its the transfer rod making the noise when it comes to the end of its travel."
That's normal on the mono shock
Strange your dealer doesn't know this.

knappattak is right i have notice this sound last year so i play with the sled in the garage, lifthing the back of the sled and let it drop, you can ear the sound when you lift the sled and drop it, but every mono does that.
