I spent about half an hour yesterday trying to wrestle my suspension back in by myself before finally calling for re-inforcements. Even then, it was a effort.
Are there any tips for installing it alone?

i usually start by putting in the front skid bolts, putting a ratchet strap on the skid and sucking it down until the rear bolts line up.
On my sled I have to put a port-a-power in to spread the tunnel to get front of supension in.Its very tight on my sled for some reason. Then for the rear take the bolt out of the back of the transfer rod, then you can move rear shaft wherever you need .Then lower sled on to floor and compress suspension to get rear transfer bolt back in.
Ive seen some guys say to undo the limitter strap but if you take the rear bolt out of the transfer rod you dont need to mess with the limiters.

Not sure if you are talking a pro-action skid or mono but if a pro action skid here is what I do.
1. Put the front W arm in first. Once in the tunnel bolts should line up with ease.
2. Loosen the bolts at the end of the transfer rods (where the stoppers are). They do not need to be taken out but have room to back off 1/2 inch or more. This gives more leeway for the remainder of installation. (if necessary I guess they could be removed completely)
3. Install the bolts for the middle arm. May want to set the shock at a lower spring rate but usually not necessary.
4. Line up the rear most set of bolts and in they go.
5. Remember to locktight all the bolts.
6. Tighten up the bolts on the bottom of the transfer rods.
It is easy for one person. I use a floor jack to hold the back of the skid up as I go along.
