I just came back from a ride and checked my sled out ( had a noise from the track and suspension area).i found that i ripped a piece of my track on the outside edge.it is about 8 inches long and pulled 4 studs out (2 in front of the rip and 2 behind), plus 2 in the rip area.i heard it after my suspension bottomed out over a hill(not the first time).i cut the flap part off and will make due this year i don't want to fix it when the snow is on the ground. Now that im going to replace the track i was thinking on upgrading the pro action to a mono, but have read mixed posts good upgrade from pro action and bad sliders (hyfax for the USA boys) lol wear fast and W arms breaking.I ride mostly groomed trails and lake runs.its a 2003 RX-1,wide front end with sway bar kit.144 studs.1 " predator. The track im loooking at will be a 1 1/4 ripaw or 1 1/4 shotgun
with 144 studs up the middle.Any thoughts or input would be great. :4STroke:

If this is truly your riding style, the Mono will be perfect! I added oversized wheels to mine, pulled limiter strap 1 hole tighter than dealer setup. Slides, hehe hyfax, have 2500 miles on them and are still serviceable. Mine are worn ALMOST to the line, and haven't worn any further in 1500 miles. I wouldn't hesitate to replace your proaction. I've broken EVERY part in EVERY proaction I've owned!! My Attak has 3200 miles on it now and needs very little in the way of maintainance.

I have an 03 RX1 as well. I went with a torsion spring rear suspension with Nytro shocks. I put a Vector tunnel on so I wouldn't have a bunch of holes. Put Apex a-arms on the front with Vector GT shocks and Attak front springs. Have a 12mm bar with the long links. Ripsaw track, no studs. I have been running the saddleless deep keel skis but have switched the seat to a Apex seat and put Nytro Bars and riser on it and they are too aggressive so will change to a low or mid keel ski. The deep keels were great with the old seat but now that I am sitting further forward there is too much weight on the front and I am getting too much ski lift when the snow is hard. I also do mostly groomed trails and this works really good.
