Is anyone making swaybars, like pioneer did? I tend to break them and am on my last 13mm (which is on the apex) also, are they the same sizes, fit-wise, to the delta box chassis and the precious vector/rx-1 chassis? All these years I dont think I ever compared them...or dont remember.
I will take out the 05 vector bar tomorrow and measure it, but just curious if anyone knows who makes em any more, for either, if they are different sizes. ...thanks!

Ok, I found my old bars...apparently the 03 rx1's had smaller splines...I found several broken 12mm bars, and an original 11mm not broken, but the spline is smaller than the 05 vector which looks to be the same as the 06 apex. I would bet the vector bar is 11mm as it is stock. I just need to rebush it as it rolls a good inch or so before the bar actually starts to twist...that can make handling unpredictable. Still need to know if anyone is making aftermarket bigger bars...

good question. i do know that the apex xtx bar stock is 11.75mm factory but the dang thing still has play even with new bushings.

It's strange...I put new a arm and spindle bushings in both sleds..and it's noticeable...a lot....but I couldn't believe how far the sled can roll on the front shock before the bar starts to twist...so I will make my own bushing...it's been weird lately....picking a ski unpredictably more than normal, and that's why...

Never throw out your old nylon shock, swingarm etc bushings...since the new swaybar ones are also loose....I took the ones that were in it, sliced them slightly, took an old ...probably shock bushing...and sliced it and fit it over the other one, and trimmed until I could just tap them in being tight on the bar and the bulkhead hole...what a difference, at least in the 'showroom' test...the bar starts to twist as soon as I put any weight on the left or right, and is much tighter even with soft springs!! And the stock bar is 11mm. Also...the splines on the old rx1 bars do seem to match, pitch wise...and if I really wanted to cobb...it looks as if the splined arms can squeeze enough to grab the smaller splined bars..and then just make up some nylon bushings to take up the diameter difference.....but enough cobb for one day....seems crazy to have the sway bar loose....I bet any race car driver would be pissed if thats how they left it on thier race car...talk about unpredictable....when your car or trucks swaybar bushing mounts wear, and you put new ones in....all of a sudden it feels like a new car. All that stuff makes a difference.......
