From an 03 800X REV to a Apex GT. Looking forward to giving the 4 stroke a try, along with all that great Yamaha technology.. Also still have an 05 500 SS Adrenaline REV for comparison next year.

Been riding Ski-doo for 10 years. I never thought I would order one Yamaha let alone two.. The test ride sold me :Rockon:

Also talked a friend of mine into ordering one instead of a REV.
 
It was time for me to trade last year and was enjoying my 03 800x so much I ran it again this year, then it happened . while at the colebrook snodeo in n.h. I walked into the yamaha area and saw a couple of sleds that blew me away! I couldn"t stop looking at the apex rtx . I had full intention of spring checking the renegade 1000 x , But the rtx wouldnt leave my mind , while in pittsburg I test drove a 05 rx1 what a sweet
sound! nice punch also.now comes the apex , rider forward , that sweet motor.......and I never questioned yamahas fit and finish , best of the four as far as iam concerned. iam locked in , its been ordered , rtx next fall, I am all fired up. still love the rev , but the rtx lured me away.now if I can only get it to smoke the renegade 1000 on back lake I will be a happy man.

there is two ways to get everyone to stop racing you-one way is be bad slow..and the other way is to kick @$$ and take some names. i know a turboed apex will smoke anything..as long as u dont run into another apex with more mods!!

I had to, I couldn't get parts for my 440 nitro anymore 8)
 
Switched from riding a '05 AC F7 EFI SnoPro to now a beautiful Apex GT. Test drove new Apex's in Eagle River and could not stop yelling "F*!? Yeah" Yamaha all the way boys!
 
Coming off a POS confusion for 05 to another yammi,hope it better than my 03 rx1,because that sled rocked when i was finished with it,i know the attak will be quicker,but will it top end it,my old 03 ran 117 gps best,but would go 114-115 any time it was real good going on ice/hard snow.... LaLaLa ;)!

I had a first year zrt as well,and it was fast,but i do remember the chain,had no tensenor and it almost broke,if i had not been into the case so often changing gears for racing,it would of broke,but i did lose one cylinder connecting rod bearing,and it took out one of the rings on that rod,still had one ring to help,but under a load,on the dyno it showed it had a problem,thats how we found it,fixed it and never had any other problems,good sled overall.. Now other than my oil problem and hars riding rear skid on my 03 rx1 i loved the sled,compared to this POS confusion i had this year,i would have taken it back in a heart beat,plus at 2.35 cents a gal. for reg. and i had to run prem. at .20 cents more a gal. for the poo,and the fact that its best milage was 10 mpg and average was 7 i really wanted my 4-stroke back real bad!!!! ;)!
 
I switched from an '04 F7 (blue Attak) and both my riding parners switched after me. One from an '05 F7-F8 (RTX) and the other from an'04 REV 500SS (red Attak).
 
I'm a Cat fan (still am) with a 2005 F7 EFI Snopro, but when I saw the Apex GT... I just HAD to have it. I think it'll be a much better sled for what I do, fast aggresive groomed trail riding.

I really think I'm ready for a 4 stroke engine. Though, I meed need some power adders (supercharge would be nice)... time will tell.

I just sold my 05 F7 yesterday... can't beleive I have to wait until Sept. or Oct. to get my GT !!! Gonna be one loooooooooong summer.
