They reflect everything and you can see them coming from huge distances, plus they don't blind on coming traffic if they are adjusted correctly. The only problem I can forsee is where to mount the d@mn transformer (since they run at like a bazillion volts and ur sled is only 12 volts) cuz you also have to make sure the transformers don't move at all. If I figure it out I'll repost. BTW I've had regular silverstars in for about 3200 miles still no problems.
FYI they (HID) actually use less wattage then a normal stock bulb and so draw less resources from the battery and charging system.

I agree 100%. I installed the Ultras and then aimed my headlights as far down as possible. The high beams now illuminate the TRAIL and not the tree tops, and are perfect for night riding even in blowing snow with fantastic illumination in front of me. The low beams, however, will now only illuminate an area perhaps 20' in front of me. But that isn't much of a concern since I only dim the lights to accomodate oncoming traffic.

1000 miles on the Ultras so far w/o any problems. I just aimed the high beam perfectly and I don't care about where the low beam is because I only dim for oncoming traffic.
Guys, these bulbs are so good you really feel sorry for anybody who does not have them!

BA Apex,
To answer your question, buy the 9003 HB2 H4.
1500 miles now on my Ultras without problems.
These bulbs flat out rock! If I am behind someone at night they will usually tell me later that they were using my headlights more than theirs!

Well, I guess I spoke too soon on the longevity of the Ultra's. 1500 miles on them without a problem and then yesterday after washing the sled for summer storage both high beams were out.
Checked both bulbs, the high beam filiments are broken on both. They both worked prior to the washing. I must have gotten some moisture in the headlights with the high pressure hosing down that I was doing.
In any case I still like them enough that I just went out and bought two more so I am ready for next year!

That is a great deal. Anybody else that doesn't have these bulbs should buy them at this price.

Do a search on HID lights. Another TY member found HID kits on e-bay dirt cheap. I do not remember the exact cost but it was significantly less than the Omni Auto Sports price.
I however am so satisfied with my Silverstar Ultra's that I wouldn't spend the money or take a chance on the HID components in an exreme application such as a snowmobile.

I put a set of the Ultra's in last year and the high beams burned up at about 2,500 miles? I liked them enough to give them another try but I'm a little skeptical at this point.

Where did you get them, $85 for HIDs sounds like a good deal compared to what i'm seeing around.

Even if I had to buy a new set of Ultras every year, for me it would be worth it for the incredible light that they put out.
