Well... The lady and I are headed to her folks up in Mercer on Christmas day and we will be there until New Years Eve... Trails are closed currently, and no certainty on the forecast for the days between. We wouldn't put many miles on anyway, but we at least would get out for a little bit over a couple days. I originally had said, "Yeah, better take them... Otherwise with my luck they will get dumped on for a couple days and we will be stuck inside." As of now it doesn't look like anything is coming along the way of snow but I've seen a few that there might be enough to at least scratch the itch at some point. I am just unsure as if I should go through the trouble of yanking them all the way up there...Hmmmmm

Where is Mercer. I looked it up on the map and I found something in Detroit. Pretty sure that's not where you are going...

Disregard, found it in WI. Even if you ride them, you will likely tare them up. Additionally, riding them on next to nothing is just going to prevent the trails from setting up. We need a solid freeze followed by a foot or more of snow and a groomer right behind it!

I'm planning on leaving mine so I can make a faster trip back up

Checkout the snow cams on John Dee, there is snow in western UP and his forecast graphic shows snow coming....:dunno:

Yeah I've been eyeballing... Just debating if I want to tow them up or not. I am thinking yes. It has stayed below freezing for some time. The flowage is frozen but not safe yet from all the reports I see. But the groomer has been out some doing something has been my latest report from her folks. They saw them out today.

what the hell you might as well bring them with. It cant hurt, well maybe the gas mileage of your truck but still if they end up getting some then your set if not then o well. Snowmobiling is always a gamble.

hope you did with this storm coming thru

Jim we did. We went ahead and went out today for a bit. Just 17 is open here in town. Sounds like Onieda and Vilas open tomorrow. There is some more snow pushing through now.
