guys, what is the easiest way to take the gas shroud off? handlebars and wiring? just wiring? tips welcome please

from memory split the controls on both sides, unbolt handlebars and feed it all through the hole.

A friend slit the front of the shroud where the hood covers it. Then you can pull it apart to go around the steering post.
