I'm giving some thought to fabing one up myself because of how limited the production of these are from monstermax and how expensive they are. With that being said, what type and strength sheet metal would you use for something like this? I really like the one monstermax has and i plan on making mine look fairly similar.

GO Skinz...GREAT people, KILLER service, and will always help with info etc. etc.
mtdream, you got any close up pictures of your brace on the tunnel?
Looks like you located yours a lot farther down the rails than the skinz kit shows on their site. I'm looking into this kit, but I routinely strap a snowboard on the side of my tunnel so that brace in the location in the picture from the skinz site gets in the way. If I can move it forward it might work better.
you can move that brace anywhere you want...it is set for handling any 90 degree angle...Their kit allows for a LOT of customization...I would not recommend eliminating that bracket, as the tunnel on the Yammies are pretty weak...and this kit makes them plenty strong for all us mild mannered riders...

"Started" the install of the Skinz tunnel brackets and cut the boards back. Just the bracket alone added quite a bit of strength to the boards. I also added WRP boards in this process too. I am not a small person, and can really feel the difference in the overall boards now with these 2 additions. Some pictures of the results.
opps - project is over for the night... got my finger too close to the grinder. Guess that is why your not suppose to remove the guard!!!
