Anyone here running the TAPP clutch? I am thinking about getting a new primary and haven't really seen any real world results on this forum . Its between the TAPP and the Pro -4.
I have heard the TAPP has really great low end belt squeeze, which is something I miss, not being able to run Draggin flies in my Winder.

2021 Sidewinder LTX SE - SOLD
Stick with Yamaha primary, latest version of Heel clicker 50/20 2 speeds with over 5k miles on mcx 270hp nytro with 911 cover. This setup gives me best belt grab and lowest clutch temps. Only on my second belt which i am going to change soon just to be safe.

I bought some of the first 2 speeds for my F7, they broke after 40 miles so I switched to the Draggin flies on my RX1.They grab the belt harder than any weight I have ever tried. I have used them on multiple sleds of all brands(not ski-doo) The Draggin flies would wear out on my Sidewinder with stock tune in 600 miles. I do have an Apex clutch set up with the DF's to try but I didn't want to flatten them out as they are brand new. I keep trying to find someone to cut me a set out of tool steel.
Do you say to stay with the stock primary because of past experience with TAPP or just believe the stock one works as well.
On a side note , I see Randy's site is gone. I spoke with him last week and he was offering special pricing on multiple sets of weights, which he has never offered before. I wonder if he is going out of business?

Not a winder but here’s what a guy in our drag racing chat has to say about TAPP on his turbo 1200.
