Assuming you are clutched for TD powertrail, how many rpms will you gain flashing to TD Max 17. I haven't been able to try it yet but am wondering how much weight will need to be added.

Guesstimate 300? I'd say clutch for Max and ride that in power trail?

I' d clutch it the other way around for trail riding IMHO. Be a lot more responsive.

Yes true... Guess It depends on which map was mostly used...I suppose that's pt... But if he kicks it up ..
He'd be outside the power... In the 1100 turbo days.. We'd load it for the bigger map... Lug the weight and Still fast on the lesser... Unless octane is an issue... Then go the other way and let it spin

I was clutched for max17 and then ran powertrail. Was 9050 with max. Went down to 8700 with powertrail. This was with a stiff engagement spring for antilag at 4000 rpm. There would be no problem running at 8700. Hp loss is minimal in that 300 rpm range.

That initial angle... He might be studded aggressively with a short lug track? Gearing?

Works very well with our aggressive weights. Builds rpm’s quicker which equals boost quicker. No studs but 2 1/4 track. Also ran on asphalt. Ran all last winter at lower hp.

Quicker rpms and boost. Look at it like a transmission. It stays in first gear a little longer.

I personally don't think 2 degrees is gonna make any difference.

Agreed. The spring makes more of a difference vs a couple degrees on the start.

I tried it today, engagement is around 3500 in combination with the Dalton dtya1 weights. It's actually very trail friendly in my opinion. My nytro from the factory had a much more aggressive engagement.you guys try the dalton black/teal 72/142 yet?
