How hot are these vest to wear under a jacket,thinking about buying a FREESTYLE from royal distributing.

i wear a klim it does keep you much warmer in the cold days, warm days you don't have to wear as much, i know the free style would be better for protection but the zipper ones are much easier to take on and off.

Well folks i purchased a KLIM tek-vest a month ago from a local dealer(got to try it on)and i loved it.(Been wearing it on my quad more than anything due to lack of snow).These vest are top quality and don,t take very long to get use too.I wear it now all the time when i ride my quad.If your going to buy one please,try it on first.The size i found comfortable was smaller than the size i was planning to order from a catalog.

You want to make sure you get the correct size. When you sit on the sled the vest will move down some. I'm 5' 11 205lbs and wear a size medium. The vest saved me just a month ago. I have two fractured ribs but if I wasn't wearing the vest I guarantee it would have been far worse than that. More than likely a punctured lung and several broken ribs. IMO everyone who rides somewhat aggressive should be wearing one.

I wear the Trail Pro version with optional shoulder protection. I feel unsafe without it on....kind of like driving a car down the road without wearing your seatbelt.
