Went for a ride today after getting a fresh 10cm of snow...when we left the truck the temp was reading -18...after riding for about a hour or so....my temp warning light came on (same light as low fuel) and temp icon came on the dash... I was worried cause it was so cold and the light came on...I thought I puke all my antifreeze out or was low...check it and it was fine...checked my oil and it was fine... I stop for about 5 minutes to let my sled cool down....light went off and sled seemed fine, started riding for another 20 kms and the light came on again.... This time I cracked my rad cap to see if somehow I had air in my rad...nothing...once again let the sled cool down and start riding again...for a third time the light came on...this time I kept riding it but slowed down and the light went off by its self...the rest of the day, I never saw the light again..

I wasn't leaking antifreeze anywhere and I could hear the fan running....I'm kinda wondering what's going on and why it's over heating with cold weather and fresh snow...

Could it be a relay or my thermostat??? Has anyone run into this??? What should I look for???

Trails were great otherwise and love the sled other than the over heating...thanks for the help cheers..

Had the same problem in powder. Temp light came on randomly. If you havent moved your wiring harness behind the primary clutch then it is rubbing on the motor mount and shorting out.
hope that helps
