A lot has changed but some ha sstayed the same. Some lakes but lots and lots of trails. lots of signage. No problem with noise just speeding got chased 3 times this year.
I have never been outside Ontario but have heard Mighigan and Quebec are awsome.
Lake of Bays stretches form Baysville to Huntsville. Open around Dorset but pretty much pretty good. Was there 3 times this year. Great resturant The Firery Grill. (sorry about the shameless plug no money invested)

I am glad you had a good experience. I am Canadian and am proud to have dealers like that around . I was just in Kirkland lake and one of the rev's I was riding with had a problem with the recoil not going back in . he went to the dealer and they spent 2hrs plus on it , took it apart and cleaned it , replaced a few parts and charged my friend nothing.
I am glad snowmobilers dont kick you while you are down , we must stick together and I think we do . I feel in this sport we have no borders .
glad you had fun

Been riding Quebec for 7 years now and like a lot of you guys, we've had many good experiences with sled dealers. ie. opening up on a Sunday morning to sell a strap off a helmet, taking a shock off a sled on the showroom floor, adjusting oil pumps, rebuilding clutches etc. when we just show up halfway thru a ride. BUT what dazzles me is that they CLOSE at noon on Saturday!!! I realize it's not fair to expect them to be open 24 - 7's but it seems to me that they're missing something here.
I have been riding in Quebec for many a year. The trails are the best!! My biggest fear is the thefts up there! They steal your truck and trailer and your sled, it is big business up there ! We have lost a new truck, an two sleds.
