Well I finally went out and did some hard testing of my ZX2 and I have to say that I am pretty happy with it. I put it through some jumps, about 4 miles of constant 4- 8 inch studder bumps, and an asortment of whoops from 6-12inches. Did some agressive trail riding and lake riding. It handles the big bumps and jumps beautiful. the studder bumps could be a bit smoother but it took them better that the mono skid in my wifes attack. It seems the faster and harder you work this skid the better it performs. I can sure feel alot more feed back from the front of the sled because there seems to be more pressure there. It steers better than it did before because of the pressure. I would like to do something with the feedback, but over all I like the skid. I ran into an issue with the install so the sled sits 1.5" higher at the rear mount points than it should, so I am thinking thats part the reason for more ski pressure and the increase in feeling the bumps with the front suspenssion. I am going to install it to the proper height and see if that helps. if it doesn't at least it will lower the center of gravity. Over all I am extremly happy with it and can't wait to ge more miles on it.

As your confidence grows you will find yourself riding harder and faster then before. Then hop on you rwifes attak and you will bottom it out in the first 2 miles! Its insane how the skid begs to be beaten. What transfer setting are you at now? Try max transfer and see how that does the ski pressure. Have fun!

Sorry for the late post. I am in the #2 and #4 positions on the revolver and the #3 position on the shock preloads. Woulds I have to be in the #5 position on the revolver for max transfer. I'm just wondering if my front shocks could also use a rebuild. They are stock shocks and I have no idea when the last time they were serviced. I know that I have put on about 3000 miles of hard riding since I got the sled.
