I rode today what seemed to be a brand new machine. My 2010 RTX is perfect!!!!
I replaced my header and pipe to an excel system. The sound level is not ridiculous loud and the pitch is perfect. At idel it actualy seems quieter than the stock nytros I ride with.
I installed a set of Doo Pilot 5.9 skis with a single 4" carbide and the steering control and lack of darting was incredible. Hate to admit it but love the Doo Skis!
I reduced the air pressure in my front floats from 75 to 50psi. Arms are not totally horizontal but are much better than they used to be and the flat cornering is great!
Dont know if there is anything else I could improve on but if so please let me know!

I would put both carbides on the Pilot skis. It makes a big difference in anti darting plus it protects the outside of the ski from getting damaged.

All of my work is done by Markham Mower in Markham, Ontario. These guys know their sleds better than any shop I have come across. I innitially wanted to reclutch at the same time but was told to try it out stock wit the exhaust before i started doing too many mods.
The sled tracks great with just the center carbide in but I will add an outside carbide if it protects the ski.
