I just spent the day riding in the backcountry above Marble Mountain and I had an absolute blast. There's nothing that can touch it in the rough and twisty stuff, jumping and hole-shotting. I had a drag with a Polaris 600 X and a Crossfire 7. I won the hole shot, the Crossfire passed me at 50 mph and the Polaris finally passed me at 65 mph. What a blast! I have done the necessary modifications to make this a truly great sled and it rocks! Everything else out there drives like a turd compared my sled. Go Phazer!

yes, the phazer bashing should stop, dont expect more than what it was engineered for and it will never let you down. icing problem in the footwells is still a problem on the 09, but a trick pair of running boards should fix that. i have 1500 miles on my 09 mtx and absolutely love it. rolled it a couple times and that stuff climbing trying to get used to it, and now that i have the seat time i needed, i feel like i own the sled in any condition. i used to get ridden by my artic cat at times, and hated that feeling. the phazer is engineered to react to rider input and not ignore it, i wouldnt trade this sled for anyone else out there especially once all my pennies are stacked up and sent to MPI. lol .

I have the Better Boards on my Phazer they work great, Although I have bent then a few time. They are great boards but I admit 70 foot tabletops and 15-20 feet of air they will not take without some bracing!!!!

Nice to see the positive feed back. I had to work out a few kinks but I have no regret with my 07 Phazer purchase. I did 500 km the other weekend and didn't have one sore muscle. You can't get sick of this thing..too much fun.

i love my phazer as my phazer got me in touch with nature, when i had to walk out of the woods. it was a positive experience?
LOL good one!I honestly believe you can make yours right if you just do it yourself. No more walking!

Well I broke down AGAIN last night, 1 am, a long way from home and -15C. Turns out it was my fault! I didn't push the fuel line from the tank all the way on to the injector assembly and it came loose, spilling fuel out of the bottom. Took me 5 minutes to fix it this morning and I was very embarrassed and very relieved at the same time. As soon as I saw it I thought "oh, yeah I was totally going to double check that the other day" D-oh.

Happy Phazer Rider here. Bought new in 07 and quickly finishing 3rd fun filled season (unfortunately warm temps and rain to end 09 ). Rode 1999 SRX700 for 3 years, then a 2002 Viper for 5 years and the Phazer is truly a riot. No more sore backs! My buddies ride Apex's and Nytro's and I have no problem staying with them on the trails.....even faster then them at times in tight or really rough stuff. I love blasting past them when they aren't expecting it....LOL! I know it really frosts their butts when they look up and see a sled with 1/2 the cylinders and almost 1/2 the HP roosting their face with snow dust! Highly recommend to anyone.....you won't be disappointed.

^So True, lol! When by buddies hear the roar of the 4 stroke annoyingly close behind them, they always wave me past because they are gonna get passed anyways. Sure, they can beat me on the pond. I've logged roughly 2500 Km so far this year and I've honestly been on the ponds for about 2 Km of that. I love the reaction from guys who've never tried a '80 hp piss-cutter'. It kinda reminds me of the Audi Quatro back in the 80's. They were laughed at when they entered the trans-am series against the big V8's. Sure the big boys would out accelerate them on the straight aways but the 5 cylinder Audis would spank them in the twisties and before long would lap the american cars. Eventually they were forced to add weight, use smaller tires and detune the little 5 cylinder because of the 'unfair advantage' of having a car that handles well.
