Snowest volume 32, number 4. Mountain Apex

On first impressions, the Apex offers the quick, responsive feel of a 2-stroke 800 when you first hop on and grab the throttle. But then something happens. The power of this 4-stroke keeps going and going-solid on the bottom, smooth in the mid-range, and arm-stretching awesome on the top. (two stroke owners---->:o|)

Is the Apex mountain heavy? We'd like to see it drop another 30-50 lbs. Does it feel heavy? NO! Is the weight going to be a factor on how it matches up with the competition? Actually, if it wasn't heavier than the competition, there would be no competition. :4STroke:

But when you combine the power, balance and handling, you have possibly the best snowmobile on the slopes for 2006. :yam:

Although I absolutely love the new Apex MTN, I am very surprised that SnoWest wrote that....

I wonder if those over at the SnoWest forums have read it????

That is a bold statement by SW. Hope the Apex Mnt works out well, it will be interesting to see what they say in Feb. It's always refreshing to see new chassis in all catogories.

Couldn't resist drifter, I pasted your quote in a thread over on Snowest that I started this spring, after riding the Apex. Should wind things up, it's been a little sluggish over there, LOL
