Yup !!!!!!!!!!!!! We better sell them now before the new 4-stroke kitty comes out..... A guy on another site said they were testing it with a vector... It blows it away in straight line... And it is smooooooooooooooooooother at idle.......... WOW... I feel bad for us... Are vectors are worthless now.......... #$%&* #$%&* MM.

:tg: <-------------------------------------the new kitty

Ooooooops.. That should be "Our" vectors are worthless...........

Easy to see the sarcasm in your post bud! lol I dont think it will be smoother on idle not a twin of that size. I can see it running smooth once it gets some rpm though.

I've gotten myself in trouble on that thread from the cat guys because I tried to set them strait on their "facts". Bet you didn't know that your Vector is a slow vibrating piece of crap and the motor's gonna blow soon because the rpms are too high for it. Now one cat guy wants to drive over and show me why I shouldn't be happy with my sled.

I'm very interested to see that sled perform, as it looks like it's a much better sled than the 660T. However that thread's a joke, because it reads like a big pre-release commercial from the PR department. :ORC

How much smoother can you get than the Vector? I'm really curious to see how that cat performs.

According to them, I sure wouldn't want to be anywhere near a Vector at idle with a liquid in my hand cause I'd probably spill it all over from the ground shaking in a 20' radius of the thing. Hard to join in on a conversation that is that one sided. The Z1 may turn out to be the best 4 stroke yet, but how does anyone know because it hasn't even been released to the public??? I'm curious to see the big 1100 twin too, but it will probably be next season before I see one in real life.

Hey twomorestrokes- That tread over there is just like the threads on here when the guys are bragging about their Yamahas and someone says something nice about a Cat. Ha Ha I saw you stirring up trouble over there.

I can see the comparison sometimes az, but that thread was in the general forum, not even a brand specific section. Nothing wrong with voicing my opinion, and I wouldn't dream of doing that in something other than an all-brand general forum. Heck, that wasn't even the general snowmobile forum, it was just a generic general forum for non sled related topics, and a few cat guys just took it over. After awhile, it got so out of focus, it was fun. I don't know why the c-note clod focused in on me when he started arguing about Yamaha speedos. It was someone else that said his was within 2.4 mph, I never said because I have no idea. Anywho, the c-note guy sounded more like he wanted to come over and try to kick my a$$ instead of check my speedo. Way too serious about nothing if you ask me. I should have apologized for not owning a cat.

And still, they missed my point. I LIKE THE LOOK AND DESCRIPTION OF TH Z1!!!!! I hope it delivers as they say it will. But the point is, everything was stated as fact when nobody really has a clue. They haven't even seen it, let alone rode it and they sit around talking about how it blows the "other" 4 stoke away in a race and how much smoother it idles. Gimme a break. If it turns out to be true, that's great but right now they're just bench racing with their imagination.

I have ridden more than a few cats............. "NONE" have been smoother than my vector.. At idle my mirrors don't even shake around........ I think that thread is over at hardcore... Go get um.................... :die :die MM.

I don't think we'll have to worry to much about Cat. They have yet to build a 4 stroke chassis that's agressive, and being a new design, I doubt they will ever match the solid feel that the yamahas have, even though, it may be real fast. Any cat i've ever driven,I tend to look back to see what parts are flying off of it,they feel so sloppy even when they're new. I owned a cat once...and that will never happen again. Ditch pickle!

I saw that thread on HCS. It made me laugh.
Its funny how they say the Yammie 4-strokes are all hyped-up, yet they proclaim anything that says, "Arctic Cat" on it to be the best thing since sliced bread, before its even released.
I heard the hype about FST all this summer, and it failed to deliver as promised. It will be interesting to see how this new Cat runs. If its like everything else Cat comes out with, it'll take them at least 2 years to get all the bugs worked out of it.

I hope that thing holds together better than some cats have.. I can just see pieces of DD coming out of the side panels.MM.

Well just remember this they are switching to four strokes and that is good news for us as it will keep Yamaha at full attention.
