Well, still working on my sled...track is on, studded, chaincase is full of oil, engine oil changed...etc...but still had a couple of issues with a defective part.

So I put on a wideband O2 senser from NGK. Pretty neat unit. It does a count down as it is heating the O2.

Here's a vid of it...as I was unsure of what forum to put this post in...Here or Superchager/Turbos??? LaLaLa :moon:

That is really cool!

I hope it works better than the Stoich guage on our drag car!

Thanks!!
Did you use a 'wide' band or 'narrow' band?

Good question! We installed it 4 years ago and I ignore the thing. It bounces around all over the place. It only does one bank as well.
Yes, I have seen those kind before, constantly revolving back and forth!!

Have you gave it a blast on the grass yet?

I think you can learn a lot with a day on the ice and some lowboy valves?

I checked the website, it does not look really pricy?

Can it be mounted without drilling the plastics?

Yes, I made a bracket for $2 worth of metal brackets from Home Depot!! I didn't have to cut anything to install THIS!!!

Yes, the exhaust is easy to take off....take off all that plastic, then the 2 bolts that hold the tank to the tunnel. Then prop up the tank about 6". The 2 inspection plugs are there(runner). 12mm deep socket, loosen the clamps and pull back and up on the muffler. When putting it back on, push it foward till it hits the header pipe, then I pried up with a long crow bar between the track and the pipe. At the same time push foward and it slides right back on.

I guess way easier with the track out...
