thinking of nypex conversion

I'm building one nypex naturally aspirated . To date the only big problem is fitting air box. There no way an apex air box can fit the nytro chassis.

Is kn cone filter can do the job

I understand the wanting the apex engine, but wouldn't it just be more Economical to just put a mpi charger from yamaha on the nytro?

I'd rather build ten more nypex's before I put a mpi super on one of my sleds.

nypex would be awsome i love the sound of that apex motor especially turbo!

I have done them both ways. With Diamond S side plates and with the OEM Nytro bulkhead. I'd go the Nytro Bulkhead. With the Diamond S plates you roll the chaincase and move the drive axle back. I felt it put too much nose weight on the sled. Something it doesn't need. Only good thing is you can run a 3" track easier.

Here is the latest one :)
