I was seriously thinking of getting another quad and i think I may get the 06 king quad, at first I was thinking of getting a second grizz but even though I love the beast it would be cool to have something else as well. Is there anyone in grizzly land that has ventured out and and tryed out the 06 KING QUAD first hand or know of anyone that has one. Im looking for good and bad of the king, let me know what you think.
Thanks!

I test rode one last summer. Its a nice quad. I wish Yamaha would get with the program and go with DOHC on their utility quads. The performance of a DOCH engine vs a SOHC is a night and day difference.
Id be kinda skeptical of Suzuki's long-term durability though. Everyone I know with a Suzuki has had problems with them.

Bladed I have a 06 king quad the thing is awesome.
Octane you don't have to be sceptical on suzukis long term they have one of the most dependable quads on the market my dad just retired his 95 suzuki with 8700miles and the thing has been sunk a bunch of times and through hell. The only thing that happened was wheel bearings went out.
I don't know anyone with suzuki's that has problems .Alot of my buddies have suzuki's.They all had yami's honda, and polaris before.

DOHC in the sport quads does require more maintenance, but it may be set up differently on the Ute. I've seen some really run, and other were dogs. I'd opt for the 700 Grizz myself, hands down. Yamahas are the best machines out there in my book. They got the best machines in almost every class right now.

Every toy I own is a Yammy, in fact the last 13 sleds were all Yammys except one brain fart of a polarass, But I wouldnt go as far as saying Yamaha is the absolute best, Ive had problems with the 05 Grizz, 03 RX1,06 Raptor,99 YZ 400, Any make that is been around as long as Suzuki,Kawasaki,Honda,Yamaha and what ever else is out there have to be just as good or they wouldnt be selling units. We have the best forum on the net,so lets show everyone that we can be realistic, If someone makes a better unit than my Grizz I,ll look at it before I buy again and base my decision on which unit I feel serves me the best.
