Just checking to see if my seetings are still OK. 3000 to 6000'. added 2nd bov, piolet 15, mains 130, fuel screws 1/2 turn, needle 1 step down, mcx rear mnt. 03 rx mnt. I've seen some post that may put it to lean. I do not have gages to check. The settings sure have helped the trottle chop I still need to lower the floats.

at 10,000 ft. I am running 136.3 mains 15 pilots, #3 on needle and 2-3/4 out on fuel screw I think you are lean on the mains.

I'm a flatlander
(our mountains reach altitude of 3300 ft at the most) but here's my 2 cents suggestion.
If you have the stock carb springs in, change them to a set of softer springs. Barry Holtzman make sets for different altitudes.
Could it be that the stiff stock springs are shutting the carb slides too fast thereby you are building a pressure peak too fast for the bovs to handle. I am no pro on them turbos, just thinking out loud.
