2006 Apex RTX. I have installed "Yamaheaters" for the grips which has resulted in a 100% improvement over stock. My problem is the thumb warmer barely emits any heat. Resistance reading of the thumb warmer is 41.2 OHM'S (assumption / good?) and voltage supplied varies between 12.9 V DC and approx. 13.3 V DC as the RPM's are increased. Raising and lowering the setting through the toggle switch (watching the dash display) causes no increase or decrease in supplied voltage from the ECU. Any input on this? Can a different element be used? I searched but only found threads on the problematic factory hand grip warmers. Thanks for looking and "MERRY HO HO" to you and your families!

Rock also sells a additional thumb booster. I have both on my 06 Id look into this and be done. I'm very happy with both and your thumb stays toasty too.
