Time for an overhaul!!!

Got out riding this morning and riding at around 60km/h and it popped out of gear!!
I had the case apart earlier this week for inspection and everything look good!!! Going to open er up today and pull everything apart to try and figure out why?
I am still hopeful I could limp er through the season! Hopefully it's nothing major!!

Got a month of riding left then I will be dropping it off at the dealer for a new primary, heated seat,and a newrear skid mount
Once I get it back it going to get all new bearing for one end to the other , powder coating and anything else needed to make her new again

Upper gear busing going bad. Gear wobbles and put strain on reverse gear shifter. The shift fork pads could also be getting worn too (mine broke when it popped out of gear.

Hey Marc, were you able to limp it home? is that the original gear, do you have 4000 miles or km on that thing?

Yup what rich said...mine did that on me on first ride of the season..sucked. You can’t tell by just looking at it either. But the popping out of gear is a sure sign. Had to tow mine out of the woods..PIA!! Would only go in reverse...forward was gone. Chewed up the top gear too.

Warranty covered all mine though...needed new bushing and top gear.

Yes I made it home!! Going to rip er apart know new 21/38 gears this year
4000miles!!

Round 1 lol!! But I can't blame the sled and will not!! I've been running and testing all hurricane's tunes so I am not easy on it!! It took a #*$&@ kicking especially when running the 300 header tune!! It pulled so hard that I felt something should give but it held up well

After all the #*$&@ I went to town to get oil and got charged 615$ for using a hand held device while driving!!!!
Oh well my fault along with bad decisions....lol

Maybe we should go back to the old style earless clips. They are much stronger. Same with the Driveshaft to disc. Old ones were way more reliable. With either make sure you put the sharp edge outward always.
