Time is running out for the 2011 Yamaha Advantage Spring Voucher FREE registration!
________________________________________________________________
Time is running out! You need to register online or at your local Yamaha Snowmobile dealer before April 15, 2010 to get your Yamaha Advantage Spring Voucher. It’s the only way you’ll be able to get either a FREE 4-year warranty or $700 in Genuine Yamaha Apparel and Accessories when you make a qualifying 2011 Yamaha Snowmobile purchase before November 30!
There is no cost to the voucher and there is no obligation to buy. You simply go to Yamaha-advantage.com or stop by your friendly Yamaha Snowmobile dealer and get registered. You don’t even need to make a decision on which offer you will choose in the fall. Voucher holders will be able to decide which great deal they want at the time of purchase— either the FREE 4-year warranty or the $700 in Genuine Yamaha Apparel and Accessories.
As an added incentive for all-new 2011 Apex with EPS buyers to come in to visit your participating local Yamaha Snowmobile dealer, you will receive a FREE Apex cover if you put a deposit down and make a qualifying purchase of any 2011 Apex model in the fall!
The clock is ticking. You need to register with your local Yamaha Snowmobile Dealer or Yamaha-advantage.com before April 16, 2010!

I don't understand the point of the program? If it doesn't cost you anything and there is no obligation to buy, plus you don't even need to pick out a model, then why do they offer it?
My understanding of the snowcheck programs was to allow the OEM's to build sleds that were pretty much guaranteed to be sold come fall. The snowcheck provided the OEM with a better idea of what to build for the up coming winter. Yamaha's program isn't providing them any of this info. Seems like they should just say their sleds will come with a 4 year warranty or accessories whether you buy one in the spring or fall. I'll never snowcheck a sled again because you can always find the same model on sale in the spring time for $2000-$3000 less than you paid just a few month earlier.

I did this last year with zero intention of buying something. Low and behold, Yamaha had a pretty decent program come the fall, decent rebates, decent financing. Put my Rage up for sale got good money for it, rest was history. Funny how things turned out? To me, the 4 year was just icing on the cake giving me a little piece of mind.
I'll probably register again....![]()

Huh, I never thought about doing it just so you'd lock in to the 4 year warranty in the case you decided to buy in the fall. That is a really good idea! Since it doesn't cost anything, there is no harm in doing so. Now I'm thinking about registering, even though I have no intention of buying a sled next year.

I know! I now understand the devious nature of their program.
I found myself thinking well heck, I'd already be locked in for the 4 year warranty, why not look at new sleds in the fall? Totally goes against what I had planned.

Sorry, but here's how my mind works somedays:
Everybody and their brother needs to sign up for a gazillion sleds at no cost or obligation.
Our friends in blue make them.
Nobody buys them in fall.
Massive discounts are offered before or after the '11s are introduced.
For ONCE, we can buy them for a reasonable figure!
