Timing Removal Vs Head Shim

I have head shims (a single gasket, no splitting or stacking) that are .066" thick and ARP head stud packages in stock. You can give me a call to discuss. 605-387-2833
 
Not to knock you Allan, but a solid piece of aluminum to gaskets. It's really down to preference. And again it's all about setting the head. Now that we've really confused you.

My next questions going to be around fuel injectors as I'm sure mine will be tapped out here shortly. Already have the pump and 1:1 regulator.

I know I was maxed out with my apex at 14 lbs. It's all about the duty cycle. Since going to stand alone ecu I went to 1000 cc Injectors. More than twice the size of stock.
 
Where did you get the injectors from?

I can pull PW back with the PCV so I shouldn't have an idle issue.

If I recall after talking to mpi, the max boost a Stage one will do is 14lbs, and that is ballpark the fastest it will spin. Being said that is also about the max if I recall for injectors from my last experiment with Dave at Hurricane. I did have to increase my fuel system and pump itslef though on both Nytro projects, being that the fuel system maxes out somewhere around 8lbs of boost on the Nytro if I recall.
 
I actually have some hurricane 600 cc Injectors for sale in classifieds. Not sure if apex are the same as nytro though. My 1000 cc are from precision performance. Yes stock fuel pump only good to about 7 to 8. I actually run 2 pumps. Stock pump in tank to fill surge tank and MSD 2227 to run engine.
 
Well after a ton of thought this weekend and just getting burnt out of all things I have going on right now. I have decide to sell all my turbo stuff and enjoy a nice yr of riding a stock sled.

If anyone is interested in a new 2871 with TiAl housing and a new in the Box PCV PTI let me know.
