I have a full Hauck exhaust system that I am thinking about putting on my 2009 XTX. The sled is completely stock otherwise, my dilemma is that I currently have the tunnel bag with metal shield protectors on the rear so if I put the Hauck silencer on I will have to remove that, but I don't use it anyways.... My alternative in my head was to put the Hauck header and get a Super Q pipe that has the turned out tip so I could leave the bag holder if I were to ever want to use it. I also have an extra Hauck silencer from selling my other Nytro. So what would you guys suggest. I did call Hauck Powersports and they said that running only the header and silencer required no tunning unless I were to add a K&N filter and or clutching.

If your not going to do any other performance things I would leave the header off and just do a slip on muffler (super Q) and sell the other exhaust to some one who needs a complete system for max hp gain.
my 2 cents

That's odd because I live right down the road from hauck powersports and they told me just putting the silencer on alone could need a fuel accelerator. They said just the slip on gives enough flow that its right on the edge. some run ok some need the fuel accelerator. BTW if youre looking to sell the full hauck system I would be interested!

Koke1 shoot me an email at ty_ty2003@hotmail.com I may sell the whole system because I actually have 2 Hauck silencers. I also have a like new set of Simmons Flex 3 skis if anyone is interested, have about 500 miles on them. Email me only though because I am not on here much and it does not shoot me any notifications.

i had a hauck silencer without a fuel accelerator and my sled ran fine....but I really think it's only mental hp and not real hp...
