Question for those who are getting gas mileage in the teens. Does your gas tank build pressure and blow the cap off while taking the cap off and or get that high pitch sound coming from the tank while the gas cap is on?

No excessive pressure that I'm aware of. This year avg fuel mileage is down a bit at appx 13.5mpg

When I was getting under 10 mpg, every time I opened my gas cap it would fly out of my hand and has very bad pressure. Now that my dealer found a completely kinked vent tube and replace the return elbow, I hear the hissing noise like its venting and I'm getting 14 mpg and over

Nice, that's what I am trying to figure out. If the sleds that have a lot tank pressure and the whistle sound are the sleds that are also bad on fuel. Basically trying to figure out if the tank pressure would be enough to raise the pressure in the lines to create the poor mpg. Does anyone know if one of these sleds have high fuel psi is there anything that can be adjusted by the dealer or is it just swapping out the pressure regulator?

Zero pressure here, about 14-15 mpg.

Haven't noticed the pressure on cap but I'm only getting around9-10 mpg

I hear a little whining sound when I sit on the seat. Like a cat crying. LOL!
Actually Excell explained it to me but I forgot what he said.

The cat crying sound is the tank under pressure and the sound is being made from the check valve on the top left side of the tank, it has a blue ish looking vent line hooked to it.
