While taking my gas tank off I found a plastic cap on top of the valve cover. I checked all the vacuum caps on the throttle bodies and they are in place. I followed the vacuum lines and did not locate where it came from. Does any one have any ideas where this cap might belong?

There's a pretty good chance it was dropped in there on the assembly line (especially if you say all the vaccum caps are in place). I've found the random nut/bolt laying inside my sled after I bought it too wondering the same thing...where did this come from.

Did you recently install a tunnel heat exchanger? It looks like the bleeder valve cap.

Thanks, I was wondering were that ran off to. Just throw it in the mail when you get a chance.

It's not the Heat exchanger bleeder cap.
I forgot about that cap. Thanks for the input.

Hey, I found a cap like that laying in my trailer this weekend.
Its 0,75" wide and 1" deep.
Anyone figured out where it belongs?

When I go to friends houses' to work on their sleds I usually go to my shop first, and find an important looking bolt or something. So I can pretend to pull it out of the sled later and say "Uh oh, where the heck did this come from?"
Its a good time!

What is the size of the cap you found? Is it a small hole in the top of it?

Looks like a cap from the throttle bodies. The vacum block off cap. That's my guess for today!
