69.6 mph on the GPS
Was that up hill in 2 feet of powder? I know speedos are off, but most guys get 90 to 91 mph, that's over 20 off! I'd bet they're closer to 80mph?

Speedo has indicated as high as 84. I've ridden across corn fields and on
Lots of groomed trails. GPS is always on and the max speed that it has registered since sled was new is 69.6. I know a lot of guys claim 90 and what not, I just don't see it. My sled still has only 540 miles on it, is bone stock and may not be totally "dialed in". I am more than satisfied with this motor. If I wanted to hit triple digits, I'd have kept the Mach 1 (which probably would have not really hit 100 on the GPS for that matter).

shoot, after a sportsman greasy cheeseburg you were turbo charged...lol

Of course after 10 miles down the trail, it was 88 to the bar- looking for a bathroom!! LOL

115 kms is about all I can get out of my mtx I usually don't bring up high speeds with my phaz but nothing pulls away from me in wooded trails . when you ride by yourself your always in the lead.

92 mph on the speedometer on a perfect trail with a inch and a half track and hauck pipe. Might of helped had a nytro infront and behind me lol!

As I mentioned earlier, the fastest I have ever hit was 151 kph. On a different day, on a different road I ran my 07 FX and my Dad's 07 GT back to back in both directions. My FX was hitting 147 kph on the speedo and the GT was hitting 144 kph. These were long flat roads with lots of room to let it fully wind out. The GT has the high windshield and mirrors, so it probably has more drag. I have an Ulmer clutch kit on mine and the GT is stock, but has higher gearing compared to the FX. At at these speeds I think the clutches are fully shifted out so the clutch kit shouldn't make much difference and it becomes a battle of hp vs drag with gearing coming into play with the rev limiter and hp loss falling off the power peak at high rpm's.

I've seen 91mph on the speedo with it pinned on a hard packed lake. Seems like the conditions all have to be just right in order to hit 90+.

I just have a stock 07 FX.

Mines a GT but i have a small windshield and exhaust airpods and schmidtbros clutchkit with helix plus the primary machining which reduces weight thats the biggest thing i think with my top end.

92 for me as well, on a railroad bed with an Apex in front of me and
a 600 REV behind me. ;)!

Never checked top speed with a gps on board though.
