Anybody know what the torque spec is for the front shock mounting bolts on a LTX SE with Fox floats? I was going around my sled just doing some general bolt and fitting tightness checking and found what I thought to be the shock bolts a bit to loose so I tightened them. Turns out that maybe they were right from the start as the front susp. didn't want to move to well after I tightened them. Just did it by hand, no test ride. So I them backed them off and everything is fine now, but I would like to put the nut/bolt assemblies at the proper spec.

Might be in the owners Manual. Just remember those are locking bolts. Once you start moving them around you lose that. Might want to take them off and put a little lock tight on them. Don't want them to fall off!

It shouldn't be possible t tighten them too much, there is a bushing in the shock that should rotate in the shock. When you tighten the bolt it stops on the bushing. This is pretty standard for shock mounting.

Well I thought that everything should be as tight as you can get it

Thank you Cannondale, it appears that 32 lbs-ft is it. Everyone keep that in mind, as you CAN get them too tight!

Mine did not have locking nuts on them the left side had red locktite and the right side did not!
