tors 84 code...and before was idling bad..looping any help

ok...sled was looping @ idle..wont do its high idle...turned up idle screw..had little..change...had had...cable free play..good...now tors 84 code. on...fk....

need to bypass tors to trouble shoot other problems...was just gonna take it to dealer..but its ...3wks before gettin in!!!! they are also a cat dealer..soo

haven no luck tryin to fix...yet...

How do i bypass tors./...sleds a 2008 apex ltxgt...

Having mirror issue with my 06. Rough idle stalls out but starts back up no issue. Under power no issue. This weekend now gettin code 84. Please post any updates if you identify problem and correct.

I had code 84 flash on my 07 apex solved last weekend didn't have enough free play in throttle cable

Check the free play in throttle cable. If you want to bypass the TORS just follow the wires from the throttle and locate the black and yellow wire and black and blue wire. One will have a black connector and one will have a white. Just swap them so they create a loop. However, without the TORS you could be asking for trouble. I would only do this as a temporary fix and recommend using a tether.

Adjusted throttle free play to spec. Took machine out last night ran great no codes. Idle still messed up will idle fine then suddenly drop to about 1100 then 900 and run rough then stall if I don't feather the gas. Does not do this all the time but fairly consistant.

It could be the ethanol in the gas. You try some gas treatment?

Just finished installing new plugs and filled tank with premium fuel mixed with seafoam cleaner. We will see.
