good morning guys, having a issue with my wifes 06 vector gt,running great, carbs synced, cleaned and idle's great,if you run it easy no problem, when you start to hammer it hard it will set off the tors,it will back fire and set flash the code 84 only for a few seconds, and if you shut it off and restart, drive bearing looks ok,slack in throttle ok,just does this when you come out of the throttle hard at corners or stop sign,s,I am going to test the switchs in the throttle and on the carbs tonight, checked battery out put is with in spec, new fuel, looking for something that we are missing,I am ready to by pass, driving me crazy, put it's a safety feature I want to keep working on the wifes sled

Put a tether on it & bypass the POS TORS system.
Is the speedo working or seem to be working correctly? My old '06 Nytro had a TORS issue & it was the speedo sensor not reading correct.

I'd check your bearing on the speed sensor side. Mine started coding when the bearing went out. Do you feel a vibration when you back off the throttle at all?

Check your throttle cable free play. You may have it just at the point where it works fine when riding easy but not quite enough clearance when you push the sled. The switch in the throttle block must be engaged before the carb opens.

Maybe check the condition and routing of the throttle cable too.....if you let off the throttle quickly and then pin it again this can happen. I know as I've been there!
Also be VERY careful about bypassing the TORS! Had a friend bypass his and the throttle stuck wide open and the sled, minus rider hit a tree!
