Is it normal to have a little "play" between the torsion spring and the idler wheels or am I missing a spacer?

something seems amiss. Spring "leg" should be tight against the wheel bracket.

im talking about the idler wheels on top. i have the skid out and I was checking all the wheels and noticed a littel wiggle on the bogeys up top . I thought the bearings might be bad but they seemed good.

I've asked myself this same question.
Bearings are ok but seemed a bit sloppy even after the first year.
Thinking the top cross shaft is either a tiny bit small / wearing?
But how could it wear a shaft that fast?
Maybe those top idlers take allot of ice build-up and side pressure abuse?
But I can't say for sure since I've never pulled a brand spanking new chassis before.
