Do we know how many vipers were built in total/per model? Also, does anyone know how to decipher the VIN?
We know the cats were built first correct?
I don't know about your sleds but my stock muffler has arctic cat stamped into the side. Did I get one of the first ones built and they used up the remaining cat mufflers or is everyone's like this?

Mine says cat. The point of that was so that arctic cat can say it had their exhaust on it so that they can get the credit for having a sled to pass all emissions tests.

VINs are 17 digits.
1,2,3 = World Make Identifier.
4,5 = vehicle series
6 = body style
7 = restraint code
8 = engine type
9 = check digit
10 = model year E = 14 MY
11 = plant built in
12-17 = vin sequence produced. i.e. my last six numbers Viper vin is 000530. 530th Viper built.
