You know I forgot to check that, and I'm kinda pissed at myself. I hope it's a 2 ply track. I don't ride without studs, 2 ply FTW when studding.

I have installed frogskins on my last 2 sleds, same basic location as you see in that picture. They definatley do not pass snow dust...as for dirt I don't drive in dusty conditions but I don't think so? You'll have belt dust more than anything else in the clutch area.
Kind of interesting they put a frog skin there...makes me wonder if belt temps were getting to high during testing. I wish I had taken a picture of the drilled out clutch cover and the panel venting to it. Guys were all over the sled worse than Angelina Jolie at a prison visit.
