Any comments on the tour buddy system for a 121 nytro? Trying to decided between that and the trail tank.

I'd get the trail tank, looks factory, no need to fill extra tanks and tranfer gas. The clear one looks awesome I think, thats what I have. I think the trail tank makes the sled run a little warmer tho, so I got the extra heat exchanger. whether it does actually make it run warmer is a matter of opinion tho.

The tour buddy fits on the back of the tunnel and empties first so there is no need to fill the tank...you guys are thinking of the fuel caddies. Not sure how the tour buddy works on the nytro but I had one on a MXZ and it worked really well. Not sure I would like all that gas so close to the exhaust though.

I always felt that Tour Buddy could have spent a little more time working on a better contoured design.
The square looking thing back there dosen't quite work for me.

I'll most likely see the Tour Buddy team at the Peterborough Sled show tomorrow. I'll see if they have anything new in the works.
But I don't think so.
I talked with them about this over the last 2 years at the show.
He, kinda seems to have blinders on about this model.
But heck, when you sell 1000s for Poo, Cat and Doo... Plus a huge back catalog for sleds going back into the 90s.
One model isn't hurting him too much I guess.
I'm not sticking up for Tour Buddy, but I know they would sell more if they simply made it look better.

Did you use the turnout for the exhaust as well? and was it really $50?

Hard to tell from your photo exactly.
But, that one looks different than thier website versions.
Your Buddy seems to taper (angle) down at the back.
Did they change it?
I went another route and moved the tail light down and put on this roto-pak style tank. 1.5gal extra and I get my Skins pack on too.
